As you can see above, UConn women's basketball freshman Napheesa Collier underwent hip surgery on Thursday. She is expected to be ready for the start of next season.

UConn women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma has been released from the hospital per the above statement from UConn.

Just two days after the WNBA Draft, which was the first event he had been to after being under the weather, UConn women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma was hospitalized on Saturday.

UConn Takes Shot at Syracuse With Awesome Tweet

UConn and Syracuse have not met in basketball since 2013 and the only significant meeting in any sport since was the Huskies' victory in the field hockey national championship game in 2014. That does not mean the rivalry is dead by any means. The official UConn Twitter account sent a tweet out this morning with this picture attached. Cold or not, I think we can all agree that not being Syracuse is certainly a bright side to our lives. UPDATE: The saga continues!

UCONN ADDS BOISE STATE TO FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

Boise State has reached home-and-home scheduling agreements with Connecticut. Athletic officials announced deals Wednesday that put Boise State's on the 2014 schedule. The Broncos will travel to the RENT on Sept. 13. The deal brings Connecticut to Boise in the 2018 season
