After winning the 2023 Big East regular season crown, the Huskies are picked to win the conference once again, topping Tuesday’s Big East Preseason Coaches Poll. Last year, UConn finished with an overall record of 44-17, 15-5 in the Big East, and made the NCAA Tournament’s Gainesville Region, finishing third.

Xavier was picked second in the preseason poll, finishing just four points behind UConn. Four Musketeers were named to the Preseason All-Big East team while three Huskies made the list. Seton Hall also had three while Creighton and Georgetown had two each.
