UConn women’s basketball will have a chance to avenge its sole regular season loss from last year. The Huskies will open the 2021-22 campaign against the Arkansas Razorbacks at home on Nov. 14. The location (ie. XL Center vs. Gampel Pavilion), tip time and TV information will be announced later.

UConn is 1-1 all-time against Arkansas. The Huskies earned a 100-64 win, ironically also on Nov. 14 but back in 1998. The Razorbacks won the matchup last season, 90-87.

Although UConn has reached the NCAA limit of 30 games on its schedule, the NCAA will allow all women’s basketball teams to play 31 games in 2021-22. Because of that, the Huskies are looking to add one more opponent to their non-conference schedule this season.

In addition to its 20-game Big East slate, UConn will face Arkansas, Notre Dame and Tennessee at home, Georgia Tech (Dec. 9), South Carolina and Oregon on the road and will play in two neutral site events: The Battle 4 Atlantis from Nov. 20-22 — where the Huskies will play Minnesota in the opener — in the Bahamas and the Hall of Fame Showcase against Louisville on Dec. 19 at Mohegan Sun.
