UConn women’s basketball’s non-conference schedule is beginning to come together with the school announcing two more opponents for next season: Louisville and Tennessee.

We start with the long-awaited matchup with the Cardinals, recapping the road it took to finally get this game and discussing why we’re excited about it. We also look at the intriguing point guard matchup between UConn’s Paige Bueckers and Louisville’s Hailey Van Lith.

After that, we get into the renewal of the Tennessee series, something we weren’t necessarily expecting based on Geno Auriemma’s comments after the most recent game. Though it may not be the rivalry that it was in the late ‘90s and early 2000’s, we explain why UConn-Tennessee is still so important to women’s college basketball.

Finally, we break down the big storylines surrounding former Huskies in the WNBA including Diana Taurasi’s fractured sternum, Kia Nurse’s incredible buzzer-beater, Stewie being Stewie, Tina Charles dominating and more.
