Chasing Perfection: Way-too-early predictions for UConn next season

With the Huskies set to return to campus this weekend, we make some wild predictions before we learn anything about next year’s team.

UConn women’s basketball’s 2021-22 season will officially kick off this weekend when the team returns to campus for the start of summer workouts. With that, we make some way-too-early predictions about next year’s starting lineup, rotation and more to see how much our thoughts change by the preseason.

We also discuss Geno Auriemma’s contract extension and what it means for his future, how Piath Gabriel’s recent surgery will impact her development this summer and why a few players on the roster might need to be patient.

Finally, we close up by talking about Morgan Tuck’s new role with the Connecticut Sun, Breanna Stewart’s signature shoe and Anna Makurat’s new team.
