UConn women’s basketball’s season is officially over after the Huskies were sent home by Arizona in the Final Four. We break down what went wrong in the loss and explain why we ultimately weren’t that surprised by the result.

After that, we look at Evina Westbrook’s return and what that means for UConn next season. We also lament Anna Makurat’s decision to transfer but talk about why we aren’t that surprised by it. Finally, we wrap up by listing of all the awards Paige Bueckers claimed this season and argue that she had the greatest freshman season in program history — even without the national championship.
