WATCH: Connecticut Sun introduce Jen Rizzotti as new team president

The UConn legend was formally introduced on Tuesday afternoon at Mohegan Sun.

One week ago, the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA announced the hiring of former UConn women’s basketball great Jennifer Rizzotti as its next president of the franchise. She takes over for Amber Cox, who moved on to Kansas City NWSL as their COO.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Sun formally introduced Rizzotti in a press conference held at Mohegan Sun Arena.
