The Huskies (5-1, 2-1 Big East) have been eagerly waiting for their 6-9 forward for months as he blazed the comeback trail from a ruptured Achilles and a hamstring strain. He is now “active and available,” according to Goodman.
Akok has not played a game since his Achilles injury back in February. His quick recovery has been incredibly surprising considering the nature of his first injury.
Bouknight hurt his elbow in a first-half fall during the Huskies win over Marquette last week. He reappeared in the second half but did not feature much on the offensive end and did not score after scoring six points prior to his injury.
