UConn men’s basketball’s games against No. 3 Villanova on Jan. 28 and St. John’s on Jan. 31 are postponed. An official from the Butler game on Tuesday tested positive, according to the Big East announcement.
The Huskies will enter a modified quarantine and daily testing protocol. They will not play outside opponents until medical professionals determine it is safe, the school said.
This is the second time the program has had a game against both St. John’s and Villanova postponed. They’ve had 10 total games rescheduled or canceled this season.
No makeup days have been announced at this point.
