UConn will host the softball and track and field championships in mid-May. The school just built a new softball facility this offseason and will be rewarded by hosting the conference’s playoffs immediately.

They had originally canceled the soccer season alongside the rest of fall sports back in August but decided to push them to the spring. Men’s soccer will open conference play on Feb. 27 and women’s soccer will start the week after on March 4.
As a result of the announcement, a few UConn sports teams announced their conference schedules.
Field hockey will play 12 total conference games with four against Providence and two against each of Liberty, Quinnipiac and Villanova. The season stretches from March 6 to April 11, with two games per weekend during that time. Its only home games will be against Villanova on April 3 and 4, with the rest at neutral or away sites. The conference championship will be hosted by Villanova.
