NCAA Womens Basketball: Providence at Connecticut David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

Despite UConn women’s basketball only playing one game this past week, we had plenty to talk about on the latest episode of Chasing Perfection.

First, we get into the Huskies’ brutal schedule luck recently with two more games postponed due to issues outside their own control. We look at whether or not the Big East should adjust its format (spoiler alert: it should) and explain why things are only going to keep getting worse.

After all that, we discuss 2022 No. 1 prospect Lauren Betts’ commitment to Stanford and if the Cardinal’s recent run of recruiting success can rival UConn’s combo of Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd over the next few seasons.

Finally, we get into the Huskies’ win over Providence, where we break down Aubrey Griffin’s breakout performance, the new starting lineup, the disappoint effort from both the Huskies’ true juniors and more!
