UConn women’s basketball’s game against Seton Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 12 has been postponed, the Big East announced on Tuesday. The Huskies will not play out of an abundance of caution after Providence paused team activities due to a positive COVID test. UConn played the Friars this past Saturday, Jan. 9.
This is the Huskies’ fourth game to be disrupted in the past week. Their meeting with Baylor on Jan. 7 was canceled while conference matchups against Xavier (originally scheduled for Jan. 13), Seton Hall (a replacement for the Xavier game on Jan. 13) and Villanova (Jan. 16) have all been postponed. UConn has played just two games since Christmas.
UConn’s next scheduled game isn’t until Tuesday, Jan. 19 against Butler.
