The UConn Pod: There will be college basketball (probably)

In this episode of The UConn Pod, we break down Kemba Walker’s performance in the NBA playoffs and try to figure out why the Celtics aren’t putting the ball in his hands when the game is on the line. After that, we discuss another former UConn star heading to a Boston team and also check in with a couple former Husky soccer players thriving in the pros. We also provide some new info on UConn’s new hockey arena.

We then move on to our favorite topic, UConn football, where we praise the athletic department for sticking with the decision to cancel the season and also look forward to a potential spring game against UMass in the fall.

Then, we wrap up the first part with our reaction to the news of Tyrese Martin’s waiver approval and what we think this upcoming UConn men’s basketball season will look like during the pandemic.

Finally, we have an interview with former UConn men’s basketball player Jonathan Mandeldove, who shares some stories about his time in Storrs, what he’s doing now and how he’ll remember the late Stanley Robinson.
