The UConn Blog is proud to present a first-of-its-kind podcast on the UConn women’s basketball team.

Welcome to Chasing Perfection, a brand-new UConn women’s basketball podcast here at The UConn Blog. Hosted by Daniel Connolly and Megan Gauer, Chasing Perfection will cover everything going on with Geno and the Huskies and bring you a wide variety of guests from across the world of women’s hoops.

In episode one, we discuss UConn’s media day last week — who impressed, who seems primed for a breakout year and how this team already seems to have better vibes compared to last year. We then get into some knee-jerk reactions and make a few way-too-early predictions.

After that, we get into the topic of whether or not the season will start on time (if it happens at all), Geno’s thoughts on the matter, the NCAA’s recent statement and if colleges can actually contain COVID.

Finally, we wrap up with some UConn in the WNBA talk, running through Crystal Dangerfield’s incredible start as a rookie, Napheesa Collier picking up right where she left off last season, if Sue Bird, Breanna Stewart and the Seattle Storm can be stopped and Bria Hartley’s emergence.

We hope you enjoy the first episode! Make sure to subscribe, leave a rating and share it with your fellow UConn diehards:
