The UConn football program added three more opponents to their future slate this week, scheduling games against Temple, Wyoming and FIU on Tuesday.
UConn will play Temple first on October 5, 2024 in East Hartford, then will travel to Philadelphia in 2026, back to East Hartford and 2027 and finishing up at Temple in 2028.
Temple makes sense as a regional opponent; by far the nearest member of the AAC to UConn geographically. Along with future opponents Syracuse, Boston College, Army and Duke, Temple is an attractive matchup to recruits and fans alike and an easy road trip to travel to.
UConn will face FIU on October 8, 2022 in Miami, and the Panthers will return the favor on October 14, 2023. The Huskies’ lone future matchup against Wyoming will occur at Rentschler Field in 2021. This will be the Huskies’ first meeting with either school.
Currently, UConn has nine games scheduled in 2021, 10 in 2022 and eight in 2023. Check out the full list of the Huskies’ future opponents here.
