The redshirt sophomore averaged 3.6 points and 2.1 rebounds this season, appearing in 21 games. It is unclear whether Wilson traveled with the team to Greenville, North Carolina for the matchup agains the Pirates.
Season-ending injuries to Tyler Polley and Akok Akok had already left the Huskies thin at the forward position. Wilson’s suspension will add extra pressure to the two active big men, Isaiah Whaley and Josh Carlton.
