On the final episode of Chasing Perfection in 2020, we dive deep into UConn women’s basketball’s win over DePaul.

We go over the Huskies’ defensive performance despite all the criticism from Geno Auriemma and also look at how the team is transforming the way it plays around Olivia Nelson-Ododa and Aaliyah Edwards. We also discuss our disappointment with Christyn Williams’ performance despite the solid numbers and contrast her development with Nelson-Ododa’s.

After that, we get into the team’s three-point shooting and try to figure out if it can improve and how. We focus in Anna Makurat to dissect her struggles so far this year. During that segment, we also predict whether or not Auriemma will make a lineup change if Edwards and Makurat keep trending in opposite directions.

Finally, we wrap up with some schedule talk and wonder why it’s so difficult for UConn to find an opponent for this weekend.
