The UConn Blog had the pleasure of chatting with former UConn men’s basketball player Jonathan Mandeldove, who played for the Huskies from 2006-2010. He is currently head coach of the varsity women’s basketball team and diversity coordinator at The Winchendon School in Massachusetts.
During our conversation, we discussed his thoughts on the first two games, including what he thinks about the frontcourt and how the rotation might shake out. He also explained the mindset of players as they competition for playing time at this point in the season as well as how they transition from lower-tier opponents to more competitive ones.
