UConn women’s basketball announced a pair of changes to its upcoming schedule. The Huskies’ trip to Seton Hall will be moved up two days earlier to Dec. 15 and on Dec. 17, they’ll host Creighton. Both games will tip at 6:30 p.m. on SNY.
The changes come of the heels of Butler women’s basketball’s shutdown due to a positive COIVD test. UConn was scheduled to play the Bulldogs on Dec. 15 in what would’ve been the Huskies’ Big East opener.
This is also the second time UConn-Seton Hall has been postponed. That game was originally slated for Dec. 6 but needed to be moved because of COVID issues within both programs.
The Huskies have yet to play their first game after a positive test within the program forced the team to shut down for 10 days, which disrupted their first four matchups.
UConn will open its season on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. against UMass Lowell. These are the rest of the dates we know on the Huskies’ schedule:
Dec. 12: UMass Lowell (1 p.m., SNY)
Dec. 15: at Seton Hall (6:30 p.m., SNY)
