The UConn men’s basketball team will be starting off their 2020-21 season with two games against CCSU on Wednesday and Hartford on Friday, the team announced.

Both games will tip-off at 8 p.m. and be televised on a major network. UConn’s matchup against CCSU will be on FS1 and its game against Hartford will be on CBS Sports Network.

This is the first meeting between UConn and CCSU since 2015 and the 15th overall. In their first 14 games against one another, UConn has never lost.

The Blue Devils are coached by former Husky great Donyell Marshall, who played in Storrs from 1991 to 1994. They won just four games last season — all of which were at home. They allowed 77.3 and scored 63.2 per game last year as well.

Hartford and UConn have not met since 2008, when the Huskies beat the Hawks 99-56. They have met 14 times in the past as well, with UConn winning 13 of those games. Hartford won the first matchup back in 1986 but has not beaten the Huskies since.

Hartford went 18-15 last season under head coach John Gallagher, who is going into his 10th season the helm of the Hawks.
