SNY will air 18 UConn women’s basketball games — including five of the team’s first seven games — as part of the network’s coverage of Huskies this season.

UConn’s season opener against Quinnipiac will be broadcast at 12:30 p.m. with halftime and postgame shows. SNY will also show the Huskies’ first four Big East games, all but one of which (Xavier) will be accompanied by pre and postgame shows.

Tip-off times for three of those matchups were also announced:

Dec. 12 at Seton Hall: 1 p.m.

Dec. 15 vs. Butler: 7 p.m.

Dec. 19 vs. Xavier: 1 p.m.

The time for the Huskies’ final game before the holiday break — Dec. 22 at Villanova — is still TBA. UConn will release the remainder of its 2020-21 schedule “in the coming weeks”, according to the school.

For out of the market fans, the Quinnipiac game will be aired on FloHoops as part of “Bubbleville” at Mohegan Sun. Streaming information for other matchups will be announced later.

SNY’s UConn crew will consist of Allen Bestwick (play-by-play), longtime analyst Meghan Culmo, and Maria Marino (live game reporter) on the call with Gary Apple and former Husky Kara Wolters hosting the pregame, halftime, and postgame shows.

In addition to live-game coverage, SNY will also produce the UConn Women’s Basketball Season Preview and Huskies All-Access.
