Former UConn Huskies women’s basketball star Napheesa Collier made her return to Connecticut on Saturday afternoon with the Minnesota Lynx as they took on the Connecticut Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena.
Collier’s Lynx came away with the road win as she had 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals in the 74-71 win.
Along with the local media assembled for the Husky alum’s return, we were able to catch up with Collier before and after the game. Plus hear what her head coach, Cheryl Reeve, had to say about her play so far this season.
