As former UConn head coach Jim Calhoun made his return to the sidelines at the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford this season, ESPN was there every step of the way. Calhoun and USJ granted ESPN all-access to cover Calhoun leading the Bluejays’ inaugural season, and shortly after USJ’s season came to an end, the network released the first part of a four-part documentary series.
“The Calhoun Project,” will air on Sunday mornings as part of E:60. Part one aired originally at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 10.
This first episode highlights Calhoun’s success while at UConn and his transition to taking over at USJ. Former player and Hall of Famer Ray Allen narrates the series and some of the biggest names in college basketball and UConn fan favorites were also interviewed.
