On the latest episode of The UConn Pod, Aman, Dan, and Dan chat about football’s win over UMass, followed by the losses to Navy and Cinci, and what expectations are for next season as we approach the end of this one.
After that, we got into a deeper discussion on the latest details recently revealed on the 2020 football schedule. We also went into the other things UConn needs to settle to make FBS independence work, such as television and bowl ties, now that the schedule is in place.
Next, we rejoice on the start of UConn basketball. The women’s team is going to have an interesting season, as Geno Auriemma looks for players to step up following the graduation of Katie Lou Samuelson and Napheesa Collier. Dan Hurley’s squad is looking like it will be an improved group overall, which is impressive considering they replace their best player from last year in Jalen Adams.
Enjoy!
