While the season opener against UCF didn’t go as planned, there were still a fair share of UConn Huskies who showed flashes of potential. Unfortunately, those flashes weren’t enough to keep the Huskies competitive with the Knights, but it’s still a sign of hopefully what’s to come for the program in year two of the Randy Edsall era.
At Tuesday’s press conference, Edsall discusses some of the players that stood out in the season opener and what needs to be done to help these players continue to grow over the course of this coming season.
