UConn Football Reliant on Young Leaders This Season

UConn football is young across the board. On the defensive two-deep depth chart released for the UCF game, there are just six juniors and seniors listed. In total, the depth chart features 17 freshmen.

With such youth on the team, the Huskies can’t rely on veteran leadership like some other teams. At AAC Football Media Day in Newport, head coach Randy Edsall spoke about the team’s young leaders.
