WATCH: Youth Movement Could Solve UConn Football’s Offensive Line Woes

Two sophomore linemen bulked up in the offseason and have impressed their fellow teammates and coaches.

The offensive line has long been an issue for UConn football but there may finally be some hope for the position. Center Ryan Crozier returns after an injury cut his 2017 campaign short and right tackle Matt Peart is back as the team’s highest-graded players per Pro Football Focus.

This spring, sophomores Ryan Van Demark and Cam DeGeorge caught the attention of both the coaching staff and fellow teammates for their improvement both on the field and in the weight room from last season.

Peart spoke about their development at AAC Football Media Day in Newport, RI.
