The UConn women’s soccer team released their 2018 schedule over the weekend, their first season under new head coach Margaret Rodriguez. The Huskies will play 18 games, eight of which come at Morrone Stadium with the other 10 coming on the road.

After 2 exhibition games, the team will begin the regular season on August 17 at Northeastern. Their home opener comes on August 20 against Syracuse, whom they tied with last year in the season opener.

A few notable non-conference games include an ACC road game at Boston College, a home game against Big Ten opponent Rutgers (Same day as football home opener) and games down south against Arkansas and Ole Miss, both whom made the 2017 NCAA tournament. Rutgers also made the tournament a season ago.

The conference schedule starts with two straight road games in Texas against Houston and SMU. The AAC home opener is against USF on Thursday, September 27 before turning around to play UCF on Sunday, September 30.

The final two home games come against Memphis (October 18) and Tulsa (October 21). The Huskies wrap up the regular season at Temple on October 26.

The Huskies will look to build on a tough seven-win campaign a year ago where they saw their season end against Memphis in the AAC tournament.
