WATCH: Interview with Former UConn Great Maya Moore

Moore was in town with the Minnesota Lynx for a game against the Connecticut Sun on Saturday afternoon.

Former UConn Huskies women’s basketball great and current star for the Minnesota Lynx, Maya Moore, was in town this past weekend with her team to take on the Connecticut Sun. Unfortunately for Moore, the Lynx fell to the Sun.

However, it was a chance for the local media to catch up with Moore. During her almost five minute interview, she talked at length about how the 2017 WNBA Champions spent their off day in Washington D.C. doing community service (the team was never invited to the White House by our current president). She also touched on the philanthropic efforts of Tina Charles and Chris Dailey’s induction to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
