Thomas Fritsch and I broke down what Dan Hurley brings to the table and also had a chance to speak with Bill Koch of the Providence Journal and Rivals’ Eric Bossi for a detailed discussion of UConn’s newest head coach.
Koch covers URI and the Boston Red Sox for the Providence Journal. He had a front-row seat to the rise of the Rams program under Hurley’s watch.
Bossi is one of two national basketball recruiting analysts for Rivals and has had Hurley on his radar since the UConn head coach was building up a high school program at St. Benedict’s in New Jersey.

- Recruiting prowess and reputation of assistant coaches
- UConn recruiting targets for 2018 and beyond
Note: The conversation with Bossi happened before the Kenya Hunter hire went official. Sorry.
