UConn Huskies men’s basketball forward Eric Cobb has been suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team, as first reported by Storrs Central and later confirmed by the university in a statement.

Cobb joined the Huskies after transferring from Chipola College as a sophomore. As a freshman, Cobb played at South Carolina before he was arrested for a string of BB-gun related incidents and marijuana possession.

The 6-foot-9 Jacksonville, Florida native missed part of this season with an ankle injury and is averaging 2.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in 11 appearances this season. Cobb played just 13 total minutes in UConn’s last three games and missed the entire second half of the East Carolina game.
