A native of Cary, North Carolina, Surgers towers at 6-foot-7, 225 pounds. While he’ll have to add some bulk, Surgers will be a big body for opposing teams to block on the line. He was not rated by Rivals and did not hold a Division I offer. He was initially offered by UConn on Jan. 5 before committing on the 21st.
According to his Hudl page, Surgers runs a 4.65 40-yard dash and bench presses 225 pounds.
