In a game which took a lot of coordination to get on the calendar so UConn and South Florida could reschedule their previously canceled game, the Huskies will be playing a rare Sunday contest hosting the East Carolina Pirates.
Coming off a big loss at Virginia, there were some changes to the depth chart, most notably seeing true freshmen Ryan Van Demark, Kevin Mensah, Ian Swenson, and Brayden Brown into starting or key backup roles, joining a slew of youngsters across the two-deep.
Depth Chart for UConn vs. ECU
Based on what we know about this team so far and that the players on the field are getting younger and younger, there may be only a couple of winnable games left on the schedule. This is probably the best of them. Randy Edsall and his staff have the confidence of the fanbase to turn things around, but that sentiment has waned since the start of the season after two uninspiring performances. The Huskies would do well to put on a bounce-back performance and take care of business in the only game they are likely to be favored in by the oddsmakers the rest of the season.
