EA Sports made big waves with the announcement that the WNBA will be featured in NBA Live 18. The game will include full rosters of all 12 WNBA teams.
The announcement came with a gameplay trailer that includes former Huskies Breanna Stewart, Stefanie Dolson, Diana Taurasi and Maya Moore.
Put up a W in #NBALIVE18.

Both male and female players alike expressed their excitement for the game:
Played video games growing up and now I'm gonna be in one!!! This is dope and I can't wait for #NBALive18 pic.twitter.com/jrtF2tWKFF

The game will be released on August 11 and is the first video game to include the WNBA. The press release does not state if rosters can be modified, such as trading players to different teams. If so, creating a UConn superteam will be high on the list of priorities for Husky fans.
Imagine the pure dominance a Huskies-only WNBA squad. The UConn Blog recently floated the idea of a UConn vs the World All Star Game, but NBA Live may now let us put those dreams into (virtual) reality.
Brace yourselves. This is what an all-UConn squad would look like:
G: Sue Bird
G: Maya Moore
G: Diana Taurasi
F: Stefanie Dolson
C: Tina Charles
6th Player: Tiffany Hayes
Bench:
Breanna Stewart
Kiah Stokes
Moriah Jefferson
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis
Bria Hartley
Renee Montgomery
Saniya Chong
Morgan Tuck
The talent on that team is unfathomable, an embarrassment of riches. To use video game terms, that would be OP (Overpowered).
The possibilities with this are endless. You could play games against the rest of the WNBA All Stars like we mentioned or you could re-ignite an old rivalry against a team of former Tennessee players.
You could even split UConn into two separate teams and have them face off against each other. Better yet, set it up so that the super-powered UConn team plays itself and see who wins.
Spoiler alert: we all do.
