The UConn football coaching staff continued their success on the recruiting trail as athlete Jordan Morrison announced his commitment to the Huskies Sunday.

A native of Trenton, NJ, Morrison is listed at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds. At Steinart High School, Morrison did it all on offense, playing quarterback, running back, wide receiver and kick returner.

It’s presently unclear where he will play at the next level but he should be an interesting weapon to watch, as the Huskies are a tad thin at the skill positions.

Along with UConn, Morrison held interest from Army, Air Force, Kent State, Navy, Temple, and Virginia. His commitment continues a streak on the offensive side for the Huskies after wide receivers Oneil Robinson and Heron Maurisseau committed Saturday.

Morrison is now the fourth offensive player to commit to UConn in the class of 2018 and the eighth overall.
