The UConn coaching staff added another playmaker to this fall’s incoming haul as RB Kevin Mensah announced his commitment to the Huskies.
Thank you to all the schools that have recruited me in the last 3 years.... pic.twitter.com/3VWuih19D9

Listed at 5-foot-9, 200 pounds, Mensah hails from Worcester, MA where he played at Shepherd Hill. He received interest from a wide range of schools, and has re-classified on various occasions. His other confirmed offer came from Bryant.
For his senior season, Mensah transferred to Shepherd Hill, a public school, from Holy Names, a catholic school. This created quite the controversy and Mensah was forced to sit out for much of the season, which likely had a significant effect on his recruitment.
After the lost season, he decided to take a post-grad year at St. Thomas Moore, which paid off in the form of an offer from UConn.
