The PK80 tournament, an early-season tournament in honor of Nike founder Phil Knight’s 80th birthday, will feature the UConn men’s basketball team in the eight-team “Victory” bracket, with the Huskies facing Oregon in the first round on Thanksgiving night, Nov. 23 at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

The winner of the UConn/Oregon game will play the winner of Michigan State and Georgetown. North Carolina will take on Portland and Arkansas will face Oklahoma in the top half of the bracket.

UConn and Oregon faced off this past season at the Maui Invitational, with the Ducks defeating a depleted Huskies roster 79-69. Oregon would finish the year with their first Final Four appearance since 1939 and a 77-76 loss to eventual national champion North Carolina.

A second eight-team bracket, named “Motion,” will run separately alongside the Victory bracket. Matchups in the Motion bracket include Duke against Portland State, Butler versus Texas, Florida against and Stanford and Gonzaga versus Ohio State.

All in all, the members of the PK80 field account for 10 of the past 15 national championships and 24 titles overall, setting up what should be an exciting slate of games.

Limited All-Session and Moda Center only packages are still available through the tournament’s website, while single session tickets go on sale Friday, June 9 at 10 a.m. pacific time.
