UConn Baseball took a loss to Houston on Thursday in the American Athletic Conference baseball tournament, putting them in the loser’s bracket.

For the Huskies to take the title for the second straight season, they will now need to win four consecutive games and that begins at 11 a.m. in an elimination game against No. 7 Memphis (30-28).

The Huskies swept the Tigers at J.O. Christian Field in their regular season series and they both have a win over Cincinnati and a loss to Houston so far in the tournament.

Mid 5: Aaron Hill got to second with one out, but he was stranded there. 2-0 Huskies halfway through.

Bot 5: Memphis gets three runs in, all with two outs. Montgomerie has now allowed three straight hits as the heart of the Memphis order starts to come to the plate.
