Open Thread: UConn Men’s Basketball vs. Houston | 9 PM, ESPNU

The Huskies will take on Houston for the right to face Cincinnati in the conference semifinals.

After surviving a scare against USF Thursday night, the UConn Huskies will be taking on the 3-seed Houston Cougars for the third time this season in the AAC Tournament Quarterfinals.

Houston swept both meetings, but in the first meeting the Huskies were without Jalen Adams. In the second meeting, UConn seemed to be in control but let a double-digit lead slip away in a disheartening loss.

On Friday night, in the final game of the day, the Huskies will be fighting to keep their season alive in a game which KenPom is projecting as basically a coin toss at a 44% UConn win probability. This will be the first game in conference tournament play for the Cougars.

This is the open thread, ladies and gentlemen. Hopefully, it’s not the last one of the season.
