Malik Banks was the third player to verbally commit to UConn Football’s 2018 recruiting class. The 6-foot-2 defensive back from Howard High in Wilmington, Delaware announced on June 14th and cancelled a visit to Boston College right before making his commitment.
It’s not surprise to anyone who watched the Huskies this past year that help is needed in the secondary. Big, versatile players like Banks will go a long way to bringing that group up to speed and hopefully solidifying the defense alongside what has looked like a solid offense for the Huskies.
