The UConn Huskies added an athletic linebacker to the class of 2018 haul in Hunter Webb, a 6-foot-2 OLB prospect from Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Webb is a three-sport athlete at Loyalsock Township High School.
Webb was one of the early commits for UConn in the class, fifth to be exact, and part of an impressive run on the recruiting trail which saw Randy Edsall and his staff add six verbals in 10 days. He chose UConn over FBS offers from UMass and Army. Rated a two-star recruit by Rivals and three-star by 247, Webb is a two-time PIAA all-state selection, and that league is no joke.
The Pennsylvania native earned his offer after attending a camp, and felt the overall situation in Storrs, with the coaching staff and facilities playing a key role in his decision, were an ideal fit for him.
