On Wednesday, the first-ever early signing period for football began and UConn football saw the National Letters of Intent roll in, including from Heron Maurisseau-O’Neal.
The two-star wide receiver committed back in June and hails from Melville, New York, on Long Island.
He will graduate from St. Anthony’s High School and did not have any other Division I offers according to Rivals. He is rated as two-star prospect.
He stands at a relatively bulky 5-foot-11, 170 pounds and will be able to use his sturdy frame to his advantage at Storrs like he did in high school. Across nine games, Maurisseau-O’Neal caught 31 passes for 493 yards and five touchdowns.
