Defensive end Jonathan Pace formalized his commitment to UConn Wednesday after signing his National Letter of Intent.
The 6-foot-5, 265-pound Needham, Massachusetts native verbally committed to the Huskies prior to their season opener against Holy Cross before making things official Wednesday. Pace is one of three UConn recruits in the Class of 2018 that will be enrolling at UConn for the spring semester.
In his final season at Saint Sebastian’s School, Pace was named to the Mass Prep Star’s second team and was named an all-star on his team by the Boston Globe. He is rated as a 2-star prospect by Rivals.
Pace received offers primarily from FCS schools, but did receive an offer from Army and some interest from Michigan before deciding to commit to UConn.
