As UConn Huskies football coach Randy Edsall was walking down the sideline in the second half, he saw running back Jason Thompson with tears in his eyes. The tears stemmed from the fact that he was unable to return to the game after suffering a concussion.
After the game, Edsall told his team “this guy represents everything that’s right about UConn, UConn football and playing the game”.
This is the type of player Edsall wants in his program.
