Just a few days after picking up Georgia quarterback Steve Krajewski, the UConn football coaching staff received another verbal commitment, this one from offensive lineman Noel Ofori-Nyadu.

A native of Arlington, Texas, Ofori-Nyadu is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals. He is listed at 6-foot-4, 285 pounds and plays offensive tackle at Timberview High School, but will likely play on the interior for the Huskies.

Ofori-Nyadu held FBS offers from Boise State, Louisiana-Monroe, New Mexico, New Mexico State and Tulane, although his final decision came between Boise State and UConn, where he made his two official visits.

With the commitment, UConn’s class of 2018 now stands at 18 players. Ofori-Nyadu is the fourth offensive lineman to commit and the third three-star prospect.
