The UConn Huskies men’s hockey team travelled up I-91 to take on their former Atlantic Hockey League rivals, the AIC Yellow Jackets on Friday night.
The visitors from Storrs, CT fell behind early 3-0 but fought their way back to a 6-4 win over AIC at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, MA.
Alexander Payusov had a hat trick for UConn while Karl El Mir and Wyatt Newpower each had a goal and an assist. Maxim Letunov chipped in with two assists as well.
