After a season in which the Huskies finished 10-6-6, made the American Athletic Conference final, losing in penalties to Tulsa, and also registered a win in the NCAA Tournament, UConn men's soccer has its schedule set as the Huskies look to reach the NCAA Tournament for the 19th time in the last 20 seasons.
On August 14 and 20, UConn will play exhibitions against UMass and Rutgers, respectively, at Joseph J. Marrone Stadium.
To start the season, the Huskies will have a four-match home stand of non-conference opponents. Their opener is against Iona on August 26, followed by an August 28 visit from Nebraska-Omaha. The second half of the home stand has UConn hosting Louisville on September 2 and it closes on September 5 when Cornell comes to town.
UConn next goes on the road to face Georgetown in Washington DC on September 10, the same day UConn Football will be in nearby Annapolis, MD for its game at Navy. On September 13 the Huskies travel to South Bend, Indiana for a date with Notre Dame.
The Huskies will open conference play on September 24 when Temple visits Marrone Stadium. UConn plays its first conference road match on October 1, heading to Oklahoma to play Tulsa.
The Huskies will also be making a visit to Yale on October 11 before a two-match home stand. On October 15, UConn will welcome USF and Boston College comes in on October 18.
The season closes on November 5, when UConn hosts SMU at 7 p.m. You can check out the full schedule here.
