Baseball
Nick Ahmed [Arizona Diamondbacks]:
- Week: Ahmed went 5-22 on the week, slashing .227/.227/.364. He registered a run and a stolen base on Monday and went 3-4 with a solo home run on Saturday.
- Season: In 66 games, Ahmed has a slash line of .221.270/.328. He has four home runs and 18 RBI, to go along with 22 runs scored.
John Andreoli [Iowa Cubs - AAA (Chicago Cubs)]:
- Week: Andreoli hit four home runs in a 13-219 week. His slash line was .448/.543/1.034. He had four multi-hit games, two of which were three-hit games. He added two triples, two stolen bases, nine RBI and 12 runs. He currently has a five-game hitting streak.
- Season: Andreoli has hit .235/.347/.427 in 64 games. He has 14 stolen bases, while only being caught four times. He has 10 home runs, 35 RBI and 43 runs scored.
Matt Barnes [Boston Red Sox]:
- Week: Barnes made two appearances, pitching 2.0 innings. He allowed three runs on a three-run home run in 0.1 innings on Sunday. He pitched 1.2 innings of one-hit, shut out ball on Thursday, adding a walk and a strikeout.
- Season: In 31.1 innings pitched, Matt Barnes has made 26 appearances, all in relief. He has a 3.45 ERA, a 1.44 WHIP and 30 strikeouts against 18 walks.
Carson Cross [State College Spikes - A (St. Louis Cardinals)]:
- Week: Cross made his season debut on Saturday, throwing 6.1 innings. He allowed three runs on seven hits. He struck out four and walked one, while hitting one more.
- Season: Cross, after one start, has an ERA of 4.26, a WHIP of 1.26 and a BAA of .304.
LJ Mazzilli [Binghamton Mets - AA (New York Mets)]:
- Week: Mazzilli went 2-15 this week, with a slash line of .133/.316/.00. He hit a double on Sunday.
- Season: In 58 games, Mazzilli has hit .242/.330/.323 with seven doubles, three triples and 21 RBI. He has worked 27 walks and has scored 24 runs.
Max McDowell [Wisconsin Timber Rattlers - A (Milwaukee Brewers):
- Week: After a cold start, McDowell finished with a 8-19 week with a slash line of .421.421/.421. He had three hits on Thursday, scoring five runs on the week. He also had an RBI. He had two stolen bases and struck out only once.
- Season: In 49 games, McDowell has hit .299/.373/.367. He has eight RBI and 10 doubles, with 11 stolen bases. He has been caught stealing once. He was named a Midwest League All-Star.
Greg Nappo [New Orleans Zephyers - AAA (Miami Marlins)]:
- Week: Nappo made two appearance, throwing 5.0 innings. He allowed one hit over two innings on Monday, striking out one. On Sunday, he allowed five runs on four hits in 3.0 innings. He walked four and struck out three.
- Season: In 13 appearances, he has pitched 29.1 innings. He has a WHIP of 1.60 to go along with 15strikeouts. He has an ERA of 5.83.
Scott Oberg [Albuquerque Isotopes - AAA (Colorado Rockies)]:
- Week: Oberg made three appearances, earning two saves. He pitched 2.2 innings, only allowing one hit. He struck out three batters in an inning of work on Sunday, while only throwing one pitch in his appearance Thursday, when he threw 0.2 innings. He was promoted to the Rockies today
- Season: In two stints with Albuquerque and one with Colorado, he has pitched in 24 games, eight for Colorado and 16 for Albuquerque. In AAA, he is 5/6 on save opportunities. He has pitched a combined 30.0 innings, allowing 25 hits, walked 12 and struck out 27.
Tyler Olander [Toronto Blue Jays]:
- Week: N/A
- Season: Currently in extended spring training.
Mike Olt [San Antonio Missions - AAA (San Diego Padres)]:
- Week: Olt did not appear in a game and was placed on the 7-day DL on June 15, retroactive to June 13. He is eligible to return on June 20.
- Season: In 49 games between AAA and AA, Olt hit .253/.369/.398. He has 25 RBI while scoring 25 runs, working 31 walks. He has five home runs on the season.
Vinny Siena [Columbia Fireflies - A (New York Mets)]:
- Week: Siena had a 5-20 week, adding six walks. He slashed .250/.444/.400. On Thursday, he went 2-4, adding a double and two RBI while scoring a run and working a walk. He went 2-5 with two doubles on Saturday. He reached base safely in all six of the games he played.
- Season: Siena has played in 65 games, hitting .294/.439/.404. Siena is leading the South Atlantic League in on-base percentage and is second in walks. He has 53 runs, four triples and 13 RBI to go along with 16 doubles and 51 walks. He has stolen eight bases, only being caught once. He was named a South Atlantic League All-Star.
George Springer [Houston Astros]:
- Week: Springer went 4-22, adding a home run on Wednesday. He went 2-5 with a walk on Friday. His slash line was .182/.250/.318.
- Season: In 69 games, Springer is hitting .268/.354/.472 with 15 home runs and 41 RBI. He has scored 45 runs, hitting 11 doubles to go along with a triple.
