Donyell Marshall to be named Head Coach at Central Connecticut

Congratulations to the former Husky and NBA star!

Donyell Marshall was on the staff of a Buffalo team which just won the MAC championship this past season. He was at Rider University before that. His coaching career started at George Washington in 2010, where he joined the staff of fellow UConn alum Karl Hobbs after a 15-year NBA career.

Marshall played at UConn from 1991-1994 and was the unanimous Big East Player of the Year award winner in his final season in Storrs. He left college a year early and was drafted 4th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1994 NBA Draft.
