There's only one requirement to join the UConn Huskies women's basketball Huskies of Honor: to be named a WBCA All-American.
On Senior Night, Morgan Tuck watched as her teammates Moriah Jefferson and Breanna Stewart had their names placed on the Huskies of Honor. That afternoon, there was a third placard hanging on the wall that had yet to be revealed.
There was rampant speculation that Tuck may be the third honoree, but it turned out that UConn head coach Geno Auriemma actually kept a secret and inducted his top assistant Chris Dailey.
Tuck certainly played like an All-American last year and rightfully deserved to be there, but she did not receive the honor.
While fielding a lot of questions about whether she felt snubbed, all Tuck could do was play her game and let her body of work do the "campaigning".
After an incredible season, maybe her last as a Husky, Tuck will no longer have to answer any more questions. She can proudly say that she is a WBCA All-American and will have her name on the wall with her teammates and all the other UConn greats.
